One of our magnificent demonstrators tonight Sir Peter Gradon making a salt shaker.

This is a salt/sugar shaker that Peter brought along to show us a completed item.

Peter turned the cone insert from the same blank first and parted it off.

He commenced further and hollowed out the body.

Peter will always answer questions from eager members.

Stephen Long
The second magnificent demonstrator was our very own chairman Stephen Long.

Stephen showed us how he turns a three legged dish.

Stephen turned the bowl side avoiding the sticky out bits !
