Welcome to Woodbury Woodturners

It's my pleasure to welcome you to the site of Woodbury Woodturners, one of the premier wood turning clubs in the South West of England.

The aims of the club are “Encouraging, developing and promoting the art, science and craft of wood turning” . Our members through the content of this site wish to show you how we strive to do this with a degree of excellence, and hope it may encourage you to visit us to see for yourself.

We are an active club of more than 120 members, and through the galleries and pages of this site, you can not only see the varied work of our members, but also the numerous activities that they engage in during our club meetings. These may include demonstrations from professionals or our own talented members, competitions and discussions, a lending library of books, DVDs and videos, and sales of wood turning items.

The club offers a warm welcome to both beginners and professionals alike on its normal club nights which are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7.00pm at Woodbury Village Hall.
