We will be meeting at 14.00 at Woodbury Hall  on the 25th March to collect the Lathe and Stand materials to set up at Westpoint.

Anyone that is available to help will be most welcome.

Once items are loaded we will proceed to Westpoint to arrange a display ready for the following 3 days over there, running demonstrations and showing off our wares.

If any club member would like to take part, then please speak to myself or John Haxell at the next club meeting.

If anyone would like to stand for a committee position or any of the non committee jobs please let a current committee member know.

After the meeting we can all enjoy an interesting wood identification quiz with some great pieces of wood as prizes.

Footnote - missed from previous  announcement: 

The Gallery wil be a feature again this year after having had a break. It will be on the stage and requires some willing hands to watch over it.... we already have a couple of volunteers but could do with a few more please. For those that don't know about the gallery, it is a showcase for all members at any skill  level to exhibit their pieces of woodturning. You can  exhibit and or  sell but not to be removed until towards the end of the show please. Must be brought to Woodbury Village Hall between 4pm and 6pm.

This is a fun night.

There will be the 10min turn off to make a tea light holder.  Wood and tea lights will be provided

The fun competition is to spin a hand powered spinning top for as long as possible. longest spin wins.

There will be a bumper Christmas raffle; please bring donations!

The competition tonight is to make a Christmas table decoration  max size 30 x 30 cm with the majority being turned

Tell all your friends this will be the best Christmas fair in the area.

The hall will be full of tables with lots of great craft gifts.

Woodturnings, pottery, water colours, carvings, wood art, plants and lots more.

There will also be a table for our supported charity, Hospiscare.
